Our Story

In 1986, my parents bought our first home computer. I was fascinated by it and fell in love with technology. Throughout my teenage years, I kept busy and earned spending money by setting up computers and teaching people how to use them. In 2000, during my senior year of college, I started Tabush Group from my dorm room, turning something I loved doing into a business.

Today that same fascination with technology and passion for making people happy continues to fuel our company. Our entire team shares these feelings, which drive us to constantly be innovating and improving. Our clients see this in the exceptional service they receive.

That our company was started out of a passion has set the foundation for how we operate. Our goal has always been to be great at what we do, and make our clients happy. That's why we maintain our focus and work with clients who share our values. With cloud computing, virtualization, VoIP, and constant security concerns, business IT is rapidly evolving; so, too, is the way we deliver our services. Having our team, clients, and partners work in alignment with each other helps us deliver great service month after month. We love what we do and want to keep it that way.

Timeline

2000

Tabush Group is Born

Morris Tabush founded Tabush Group in NYC out of his dorm room while a senior at Yeshiva University. The firm is focused on providing great IT services to small and midsize businesses.

2001

First Office Open

Tabush Group moves into its first office on East 28th Street in NYC.

2003

Datacenter Services

Tabush Group begins offering datacenter services.

2005

Professional Services

Darragh Fitzpatrick joins Tabush Group and begins developing the company into a professional services firm, helping clients develop pro-active IT strategies.

2007

Datacenter Growth

Having outgrown our original space, Tabush Group’s cloud infrastructure moves to a larger space. It will grow 400% over the next 4 years.

2010

Big Move

Tabush Group continues to grow, moving into our current office space in midtown.

2011

Tabush Group 2.0

The firm decides to concentrate exclusively on managed IT and cloud services. An R&D team is formed to focus on preventative measures to minimize business interruptions for clients.

2012

Weather Superstrom Sandy

Datacenter operations now span 3 locations across the US, enabling Tabush Group to maintain 100% uptime throughout Hurricane Sandy. The firm assists non-cloud clients with emergency migrations to get their businesses up and running again.

2015

The Launch of Boxtop

Tabush Group experiences record growth of 22% in cloud and managed services. Tabush Group launches Boxtop, a Desktop as a Service cloud solution, to enable firms to move their entire IT to a single cloud.

2017

Unprecedented Growth

Boxtop proves essential for small to midsize professional firms and experiences 203% YOY growth.

2019

Entry into New Markets

Tabush Group continues on an upward trajectory fueled by product development and growth into new markets.

2020

Even a Global Pandemic Can’t Slow Us Down

As offices close, Boxtop proves vital, providing security and mobility to clients who now are working from home.

2021

Improvements and Efficiency for Clients

To better meet the needs of our clients, we launched our Client Support Portal to more efficiently create and respond to tickets. We also launched an Accounts Payable Portal to provide clients transparency into invoicing and payments.

Our cloud team upgraded the capacity and performance of our Boxtop cloud.

2022

Launch of Boxtop Boost

Tabush Group introduces Boxtop Boost to give power users additional resources for a faster, improved experience.

2023

Enhanced Proactive Cybersecurity

Boxtop Guardian is Tabush Group’s fully managed Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS) that offers 24x7x365 “eyes on glass" monitoring, detection, and mitigation of security issues to ensure clients’ applications and data remain safe from cyber attacks.

2024

Overture Launches

Tabush Group launches its latest IT solution, Overture. For companies who use multiple clouds, Overture combines robust security, centralized management, and enhanced user experience for a more efficient, simpler cloud experience.
